{"id":1297,"date":"2012-02-10T07:43:48","date_gmt":"2012-02-10T15:43:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lisathorpeartist.wordpress.com\/?p=1086"},"modified":"2012-02-10T07:43:48","modified_gmt":"2012-02-10T15:43:48","slug":"shake-it-up-40-ways-to-say-i-love-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lisathorpe.com\/index.php\/2012\/02\/10\/shake-it-up-40-ways-to-say-i-love-you\/","title":{"rendered":"SHAKE IT UP: 40 ways to say I love you"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_1089\" style=\"width: 410px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/lisathorpeartist.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/02\/97-el-corazon1.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1089\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1089\" title=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA\" src=\"http:\/\/lisathorpeartist.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/02\/97-el-corazon1.jpg?resize=400%2C513\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"513\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1089\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">El Corazon<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Well I focused my attention and intentions on Love this week and came up with this collage piece and I have to say I fell in love with.\u00a0 I broke out of my habitual way of working this time, and shaking it up brought some great results.\u00a0 Usually I plan out my collages, laying out the images and carefully placing each piece.\u00a0 This time I decided I needed to loosen up and what better theme to do that on than love.\u00a0 The Mexican Lotteria card for heart, el Corazon, inspired me.\u00a0 I used multiple images of the el Corazon card and started gluing and laying down images with abandon.\u00a0 Many layers later along with some paint, rubber stamping, encaustic medium and even a shrinkie dink (my angel at the bottom).\u00a0 I came up with my thoughts on love.\u00a0 Love in all it\u2019s chaotic, joyious, tumultuous, playful, extraordinary wonder.\u00a0 And I offer it up to you my faithful readers, so shake it up a bit,\u00a0 get out there and say &#8220;I love you&#8221;, and if that\u2019s not enough here\u2019s 40 ways to say it, have a love filled week.
