I love birds and after many requests I have created a set of nine bird blocks for you to play with! Each image is a hand carved block print and is 4×4 inches printed in deep blue on Kona cotton fabric. I have pre-washed the fabric so it’s ready to go for colorizing with Pentel fabric dye pastels (see my intro video on my Youtube Channel Lisa Thorpe Artist) or Inktense watercolor pencils, a light wash of liquid acrylic paints or leave as is whatever your creative project calls for This fabric was designed to add lively embellishment to boro stitched art quilts but you can use as garden prayer flags, patches on clothing, pillows or home decor – your imagination is the limit. You don’t have to have taken the workshop to buy the fabric but if you would like me to lead a workshop for your community contact me via my connect page. Price includes shipping.
