Subversive Sistahs is a playful poke at the patriarchy. Make your feelings known through fabric art. (Plus a few tiny pricks of the needle for the cause can be cathartic!) Inside are five 11×11” feminist images printed on organic cotton sateen fabric to color any way your imagination takes you with the 15 color box of Pentel Fabric Dye Pastels included in the kit. Instructions on colorizing plus stitch ideas are also included and a link to YouTube tutorial on colorizing with dye pastels is inside. The stitch is up to you; keep it simple or get elaborate whatever you enjoy. Thread is not included in kit.  To add stitch to your panels you’ll need a 9”-10” embroidery hoop, embroidery thread  in colors you choose and a large eye needle. What will I do with my project when I’m done you ask…. pictorial instruction on how to finish your art with embroidery hoop as frame also included so you can hang it anywhere with just a push pin, or you  could stitch one to the back of an up-cyled jacket and add ‘I VOTE”. Stitch one on a pillow cover, put them all together to make a wall hanging or to carry at a rally….. just a thought – I bet you have more!
